KVKK Data Protection Notice

Data Controller

Under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), your personal data is processed by Patistik as data controller, in the scope set out below.

Personal Data We Process

• Identity: name and surname
• Contact: email address and phone number (for groomers)
• Location: city and district
• Activity: booking history and platform usage data
• Professional: business name, experience and service details for groomers

Purposes of Processing

• Running membership and identity verification
• Matching groomers with clients and managing bookings
• Customer relations and support
• Meeting legal obligations
• Keeping the platform secure

Legal Basis

Your data is processed under Article 5 of the KVKK, on the basis that:

• it is directly related to concluding or performing a contract (Art. 5/2-c)
• the controller must meet its legal obligations (Art. 5/2-ç)
• it falls within our legitimate interests (Art. 5/2-f)

Data Transfers

We do not transfer your personal data to third parties except where legally required. Our infrastructure uses Supabase (database) and Resend (email), both based abroad; these transfers are made under Article 9 of the KVKK.

Retention

We keep your data for as long as your membership lasts and for any period required by law. If you delete your account, your data is removed from the system within a reasonable time.

Your Rights Under the KVKK

Article 11 of the KVKK gives you the right to:

• learn whether your personal data is being processed
• request information about that processing
• learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used accordingly
• learn which third parties, at home or abroad, receive your data
• have incomplete or incorrect data corrected
• request deletion of your data under Article 7
• object to processing and claim compensation for any damage
