1. Data Controller

2. Data We Collect

Patistik collects the following personal data:

• Name, surname and email address (at sign-up)
• For groomers: business name, address, phone, experience details and pet photos added to grooming reports
• Booking and transaction history
• Login and usage data
• For bookings: phone number, your pet's name, species and weight, booking notes; your address for mobile/at-home services
• Community posts, reviews and questions to salons (these are published publicly)
• In the mobile app: your device's notification token if you allow notifications. If you allow location, it is used only on your phone to sort nearby groomers; it is never sent to or stored on our servers.

3. Why We Use It

The data we collect is used only to:

• Create accounts and verify identity
• Match groomers with clients and manage bookings
• Keep the platform secure and prevent fraud
• Meet our legal obligations

4. Sharing

When you book, your name, phone, pet details and note are shared only with the groomer you booked. Otherwise we do not share your personal data with third parties except where legally required. Our infrastructure uses Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email) and Expo (mobile app notifications); the website uses Meta Pixel for ad measurement (see Cookies). These providers operate under their own privacy policies.

5. Security

Your data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and is held on secure servers. Passwords are never stored in plain text.

6. Your Rights

Under Turkish data protection law (KVKK) you have the right to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your data. You can delete your account and data at any time: Settings on the website, Profile → "Delete my account" in the app, or patistik.com.tr/hesap-silme. For other requests, write to destek@patistik.com.tr.

7. Cookies

Patistik uses strictly necessary cookies for session management and language preference — without them you cannot log in. The website also uses the Meta (Facebook) Pixel cookie to measure the effect of our ads; it sends events such as page views and sign-ups to Meta. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. The mobile app contains no advertising or analytics tools.

This policy may be updated from time to time. We'll email you about significant changes, and the current version is always published on this page.
